Beau Johnson is the acquisitions team assistant with Ballast Books and its children’s imprint, Blue Balloon Books. Beau currently attends San Francisco State University, where she studies creative writing and acts as fiction editor for the school’s student-run and -published literary magazine, Transfer. She thoroughly enjoys a good speculative fiction book when there’s a moment to relax as well as listening to Dungeons & Dragons podcasts when time is less forgiving. She was raised and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
