Taylor Burns is a children’s book author, a human resources manager, and, best of all, a mom! After struggling with infertility, Taylor and her husband found the joy of parenthood through adoption. The inspiration for The Remarkable Things You Learned Today came from asking her daughter what she had learned at daycare that day . . . long before she was even able to talk! She was astounded by the social skills her daughter learned being surrounded by her peers. Born and raised in Minnesota, Taylor lives in a northern suburb of the Twin Cities with her husband, daughter, two cats, and one dog.
Taylor always had a dream of writing her own book. Her motto going into 2024 was, “Do it scared.” So, she decided to take the plunge and submit her manuscript to Blue Balloon Books. Lo and behold, it worked out better than she could have imagined!
